Mad about Faucets

Faucets are the finishing touch of any bathroom
they are the things most often used and more often eye catching

I am most defiantly mad about faucets!

This faucet is featured on my Narova sink.
Its Standard Mfg Co. Dated 1914

Many people wonder about using dual hot and cold faucets.
it takes the same amount of time for the hot to heat up
as it would if it had a mixer faucet.

They mainly come in handy in a bathroom
less used by guests and constant hand washing.

ex: Master Bathroom:
This sink is featured in a master bathroom
and is mainly used for toothbrushing and
touch ups, so really on the cold is being used
on a regular basis.

As you can see from the picture above both faucets are marked
"Hot" and "Cold" and the center waste is marked "Lift Waste"

The thing I love most about this faucet is the "Lift Waste"
in the center. Its a bit of a rarity to find a waste that actually explains
to "lift." Generally they just say waste or are blank.

(What is the waste for? - See Fun Plumbing Facts on the main page.)
